Vopium is looking for motivated, energetic, hardworking and dedicated professionals for below mentioned 19 positions for Lahore office.
1. SENIOR MANAGER - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/MARKETING

Vopium Pvt. Ltd., is looking for an enthusiastic, self-starting individual to help coordinate marketing and partnership efforts across multiple platforms, including Mobile Operators, Media (TV Channels, which have good international web traffic), Mobile App Stores, social media outlets (e.g. Facebook Twitter) and various web sites which have high South Asian traffic.
Salary package would be between Rs.100K to 150K per month based on experience and qualification.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Exploring various B2C options
Operators:
• Preparing proposals for various Mobile Operators (both national and international) with the specified solution and presenting them.
• Maintaining business relations with mobile operators to get the deals done.
• Acting as a primary point of contact for Mobile Operators.
Media (TV Channels which have good international web traffic):
• Preparing proposals for various TV channels in Pakistan, which have good international web traffic on their web sites, with the specified solution and presenting them.
• Maintaining business relations with such Media people to get the deals done.
• Acting as a primary point of contact for Media related organizations/TV channels.
Mobile App Stores:
• Analyzing and recommending different marketing campaigns on various Mobile App Stores (Apple App Store, Blackberry App World, OVI, Android Market etc.).
• Responsible for running different marketing campaigns on various Mobile App Stores and sharing the marketing stats with the top management.

Other Web Sites/Portals:
• Analyzing and recommending various web sites based on our marketing strategy.
• Preparing proposals for all such web sites/portals/social media for various kind of partnerships to promote our product.
EDUCATION:
• MBA, preferably in marketing from a reputable university. Preference will be given to LUMS/IBA Karachi graduates.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
• At least 8 years of related marketing and business development experience
• Outstanding project management and organization skills; ability to manage many moving pieces in short timeframes and prioritize the most important ones
• Familiarity with email marketing, community development, and marketing in social channels such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• Experience working with internal and external partners.
• Team player with great interpersonal skills – position requires close communication with global colleagues in various functional groups (PR, legal, product management, product marketing, creative services)
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Outlook
• Hands-on work ethic, detail-oriented
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Experience in search engine optimization preferred

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working under the supervision of Senior Manager Business Development and assist in preparing proposals for various media companies (both national and international) with the specified solution and presenting them.
• Maintaining business relations with potentials clients/collaborators and conducting regular follow ups on related matters.
• Conducting different marketing researches on the assigned areas/tasks and preparing write ups/proposal.
• Helping in running different marketing campaigns on either Mobile AppStore or on various Social Medias platforms.
• Exploring various B2C options

EDUCATION:
• MBA, preferably in marketing from a reputable university
• MBA from LUMS and IBA Karachi would definitely be a plus
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• At least one year experience.
• Fresh Grads can also apply.


Required Skill Set
• At least bachelors in computer sciences or equivalent
• 1 - 3 years experience in software development, including expertise in C++
• At least one year hands on experience in Objective-C and iPhone SDK
• Familiarity with Xcode, Instruments and Shark optimization, analysis tools and developing and delivering products using Cocoa on the Mac
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time with excellent problem solving skills

• Development knowledge in J2ME and Blackberry will definitely be a plus

6. C/C++ (SIP/RTP Stack) DEVELOPER (02 Position)
Skill Set Required:
• At least 2 years of practical experience in C/C++ (SIP/RTP Stack writing)
• Should have full understanding of RFC 3261 (Session Initiation Protocol) and RFC 3550 (Real-time Transport Protocol)
• Experience in working with SIP/RTP libraries
• Having practical knowledge of using open source libraries and licensing issues
• Hands on proven experience in C/C++.
• Should have practical experience of using STL
• Well aware of building applications and libraries for Linux/windows.
• Knowledge of Python and Perl will be considered as plus point

Required Skill Set
• Clear Understanding and Concepts of VoIP & Underlying Protocols and Technologies.
• A minimum of two years experience with different VoIP switches and platforms like Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, MVTS, Nextone, Call-Weaver, SER and different billing platforms.
• Development skills in C/C++, Perl, Python and PHP.
• A min of one year development experience in any of above three programming language in a VoIP server side project.
• Experience in C language is must.
Job Description
• Responsible for designing and developing VOPIUM VoIP platform including switch level development, Configurations and billing.
• Responsible for designing and developing Vopium IM VoIP platform.
• Should also be involved in routing and maintain already running services.

8. SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER: WEB PLATFORM (01 Position)

Required Skill Set
• Should have a test to break attitude and should be able to design positive & negative test scenarios based on the validation on controls, cookies etc.
• Must be a good collaborator who is detail-oriented, pro-active, and able to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and follow-through on tasks.
• Ability to estimate task durations and meet schedules.
• Detailed knowledge and passion working in an Agile environment
• Proven experience testing complex systems and interfaces
• Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes
Job Description
• Responsible for testing of assigned projects including writing and executing the test cases.
• Responsible for preparing scenario matrix.
• Defect management which includes logging, reviewing tracking the bugs

9. SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER: MOBILE PHONES PLATFORM (02 Position)

Required Skill Set
• Candidate with Mobile application testing background is a MUST.
• Should possess good knowledge of Mobile applications domain and should have worked on at least operating systems like Symbian, Android, Windows Mobile, and iPhone.

10. TECHNICAL WRITER (01 Position)
Skill Set Required:
• At least 3 years of experience in writing User Guides, Functional Specifications, Requirements Specifications, Content Writing and blogging.
• Should have excellent English writing skills and should be able to translate complex logic in simple words
• Be able to write user friendly and easy to understand User Guides of the products by keeping in mind the target users
• Passionate about writing
• Education: Any masters degree from some reputable university
• Should be familiar with SDLC
• This position may lead the role of “Business Analyst”
Job Description:
• Responsible for preparing and updating User Guides for the product on various Operating Systems
• Responsible for preparing Requirement Specifications and Functional Specifications documents and keep them updated with the ongoing modifications
• Communicating with the team to understand the functionality of the application and product to translate in the simple English for the end user.
• Communicating with the related team members to understand the upcoming application functionalities and prepare the Functional Specifications accordingly

Skill Set Required:
• At least should have 2 to 4 years of related experience
• Creating high level Viral / WOM campaigns aimed to provide visibility and buzz to online products
• Establishing a network of influential bloggers within target audience to create maximum visibility and buzz.

• Actively works to ensure smooth and timely software builds, release management and software deployments on development, staging and production systems
• Troubleshoots and fixes configuration and deployment issues using appropriate tools
• Monitors configurations and production systems with real time monitoring and alert systems to proactively predict, figure out and address impending problems with software systems
• Prepares configuration management status reports for relevant stakeholders
• Facilitates in establishing and implementing configuration management processes and SCM best practices
• Facilitates in exploration and induction of tools and technologies related to SCM and release management aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the function
• Responsible for being compliant with the prevailed processes for development

Skill Set Required:
• At least 1 - 3 years of practical experience in Network and System Support
• A degree in computer sciences or equivalent
• Should have the experience in Systems Administration, Domain Controller Administration, Antivirus Server Administration, and Operating System Administration.
• Strong Knowledge of all Windows based Operating Systems, Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
• Management of Windows Server environment Server 2003, 2008.
• Hands on experience in managing Active Directory, DNS, & DHCP server.
• Basic knowledge of Cisco firewalls, Linux OS.
• Ability to troubleshoot/fix PC software/hardware issues without supervision.
